What is Snytch?

Updated: 26 October 2026

Short answer: Snytch is a web app that tells you who unfollowed you on Instagram, and tracks the follows, unfollows and new followers of any public Instagram account you add. It needs only an @, never your Instagram password, and checks about every 2 hours.

How it works in three taps

Sign in to Snytch, add the @ of a public Instagram account, and wait for the first check. From then on Snytch compares each check with the one before and tells you what changed: who followed, who unfollowed, who is a new follower, and who the account follows without being followed back.

Who it is for

People who want to know who unfollowed them, creators who watch their follower losses, friends who share the watching of an account in a squad, and anyone curious about the public activity of an account. It only works on public accounts.

What it deliberately does not do

It does not ask for your Instagram login. It does not read private accounts. It does not claim real time. It does not tell the tracked person. It does not show who visited a profile, because Instagram does not share it.

Where it runs

In the browser on any phone or computer, installable as a web app. No app store is needed. The site is available in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian and Russian.
