Is Snytch legit?
Updated: 26 October 2026
Short answer: Snytch is a web app that shows who followed and unfollowed a public Instagram account. It never asks for your Instagram login or password, it reads public information only, and its price is shown before you pay. It is also limited: it is not real time, it cannot see private accounts and it cannot prove why someone left.
What Snytch actually does
You add the @ of a public Instagram account. Snytch checks it about every 2 hours on most accounts, compares each check with the previous one and tells you about new follows, unfollows, new followers and one-way follows. A departure is confirmed on a second pass before you are alerted, so a glitchy list does not create a fake unfollow.
What it cannot do
It cannot see a private account. It does not show who visited a profile, because Instagram does not share that. It is not real time, so you learn about a change within a few hours rather than the second it happens. It cannot tell you why someone unfollowed, and it cannot prove that an account blocked you.
Is it safe for your Instagram account?
Snytch never asks for your Instagram login, so there is nothing to steal and nothing that acts as you on Instagram. You sign in to Snytch with an email code, Google or Apple. The tracked person is not notified and your alerts do not expose your identity to them.
Price and cancellation
The price is shown before you pay: from 9.99 EUR per week or 29.99 EUR per month in euro countries (11.99 or 34.99 USD elsewhere), with 3 tracked accounts included. There is no free plan. You can cancel from the app and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Payments are taken by a third party payment processor, not stored by Snytch. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, as written in the terms.
How to check any tracker yourself
Ask five questions of any tool: does it want your Instagram password, does it read public data only, how often does it really check, is the price visible before payment, and can you cancel without contacting anyone. Our guide on choosing a tracker goes through them.
FAQ
Is Snytch a scam?
No. It is a web app with a visible price, a cancel button and a privacy policy. It does not ask for your Instagram password and it states its limits openly: not real time, public accounts only.
Does Snytch need my Instagram password?
No. You only give the @ of the public account you want to watch.
Will the person know I am tracking them?
No. Instagram does not notify anyone, and Snytch does not contact the tracked account.
Can I try Snytch for free?
No. There is no free plan, which is why the price and what is included are shown before you pay.
