Watch an Instagram account with friends

Updated: 26 October 2026

Short answer: Following a public account alone means you are the only one who sees what changed. A squad in Snytch lets a group follow the same target together: everyone sees the same catches in a shared feed and can react to them. It is built for friend groups who would otherwise forward screenshots to each other.

How a squad works

One person adds the target and invites the others. From then on, each new follow, unfollow or movement that Snytch confirms appears in the shared feed for the whole squad, with the time it was spotted.

What it is good for

A group that wants to follow the same public account without everyone doing it separately: the same view for everyone, reactions in one place, no screenshots to forward.

What stays the same

It only reads public information, nobody logs in to Instagram and the watched person is never notified. A private account cannot be tracked, even in a squad. Use it with the same common sense you would use for any public information.
