Is he still following his ex on Instagram?

Updated: 26 October 2026

Short answer: If his account is public, you can open his Following list and look for her name, which answers the question for today. What Instagram will not show is when that changes. A tracker keeps the list and tells you if she appears or disappears from it later. Snytch never asks for your Instagram login and never notifies him.

Checking today

Open his profile, tap Following and search for her name. If his account is private, you cannot see the list at all, and no honest tool can. The list shows the situation now, with no date and no history.

Seeing when it changes

A tracker saves the list and compares it at each check. Snytch rechecks about every 2 hours and tells you when a name is added or gone, with the time it was spotted. It cannot tell you why, and it only sees public information.

A word on using this

Looking at public information is one thing, building a daily habit of checking on someone is another. If it starts to take over your head, a conversation or some distance will do more for you than any alert. Snytch's terms forbid using it to harass, stalk or harm anyone.

FAQ

Will he know I checked?

No. Instagram does not notify anyone that a profile was viewed, and Snytch never reveals who is looking.

What if his account is private?

Then the list is not visible and cannot be tracked until the account is public.

Can I see how long he has followed her?

No. Instagram does not publish the date of a follow. A tracker only shows when it spotted a change, from the day you start.
