Short answer: Instagram gives you two lists, the people who follow you and the people you follow, but no simple answer to who is missing from the first. Why it is hard to see in the app

Your followers and your following are two separate lists with no reliable order. Spotting the people who are in one and not the other means scrolling both and comparing names, which is fine for 50 accounts and hopeless for 800.

The manual method

Write down or screenshot both lists, then tick off every name that appears in both. What is left in the following list is who does not follow you back. It works once. It is out of date the moment someone follows or unfollows, and you will not know when it changed.
