RecentFollow alternative: Snytch vs RecentFollow

Updated: 26 October 2026

Short answer: Snytch and RecentFollow both track public Instagram accounts without asking for your Instagram login. The differences are in what they track, how often they check, and how they price it. RecentFollow, at recentfollow.com, shows the recent followers and following of public accounts. Snytch is built for people who want the follows, the unfollows and the one-way follows of an account, with an honest check about every 2 hours rather than a real time promise.

Where RecentFollow fits

According to its own site (checked 26 October 2026), RecentFollow needs no login to get started, shows the recent followers and following of any public account, and is available in seven languages. It markets itself as real time. If you want a quick free look at someone's recent follows, start there.

Where Snytch fits

Snytch is a web app that follows who a public account follows and who follows it, confirms a departure on a second pass before alerting you (so a glitchy list does not create a fake unfollow), and shows who the account follows without being followed back. You can watch accounts together with friends in a squad. It says plainly that it checks about every 2 hours: it is frequent monitoring, not live.

How to choose

Pick the tool whose list of features matches what you actually need. If you want follows, unfollows and one-way follows on public accounts, with a clear price and no Instagram login, Snytch covers it. If you need a quick free look at recent follows, or Italian, German and Turkish, check RecentFollow directly.

FAQ

Is Snytch a good RecentFollow alternative?

If you want to track follows and unfollows on public Instagram accounts without logging in, yes. If you need what only RecentFollow offers (a quick free look at recent follows, or Italian, German and Turkish), it is not a replacement for that.

Does Snytch ask for my Instagram password?

No. Snytch only reads public information and never asks for your Instagram login.

Is Snytch real time?

No. It checks about every 2 hours on most accounts and says so. A change is confirmed on a second pass, so you usually learn it within a few hours.
