Instagram follow tracker alternatives
Updated: 26 October 2026
Short answer: Several tools track what public Instagram accounts do. They do not all do the same thing: some focus on recent follows, some add likes and stories, some send periodic reports. This page lists the tools we compared with Snytch. Each comparison repeats only what the tool's own site says, with the date we checked it, so you can verify before you decide.
| Tool | Focus, per its own site | Comparison |
|---|---|---|
| The Ick (theick.io) | Follows and unfollows of public accounts, hourly checks, up to 5 profiles | /the-ick-alternative |
| FollowSpy (followspy.ai) | New follows, followers and unfollows, plus a story viewer | /followspy-alternative |
| RecentFollow (recentfollow.com) | Recent followers and following, story activity, seven languages | /recentfollow-alternative |
| DolphinRadar (dolphinradar.com) | Follows, likes, story viewing and downloads, comments | /dolphinradar-alternative |
| Snoopreport (snoopreport.com) | Reports on likes, follows, activity and interests, weekly or monthly | /snoopreport-alternative |
Checked on 26 October 2026 on the tools' public sites. Instrack (instrack.app) blocked reading its site that day, so we say nothing about it.
How we compare
We read each tool's public homepage and report what it says about login, what it tracks, how often it checks, languages, price and free access. When a site does not say, we write that it does not say. We do not repeat claims we cannot check, and we do not publish prices a site does not show.
Where Snytch fits
Snytch follows who a public account follows and who follows it, confirms a departure on a second pass before alerting you, and shows who the account follows without being followed back. It checks about every 2 hours, says it is not real time, asks for no Instagram login and has no free plan: the price is shown before you pay. It does not show likes or stories of other people.
A note on claims
Many tools in this space advertise real time updates. An Instagram follow has no public timestamp, so any tool can only show when it spotted a change. Read that line carefully on every site, including ours.

Why is Instrack not compared?
